JOHN MEYERS

John lives with his family and pets at the base of the Catoctin Mountains in Maryland. In addition to FIRST NOTE, he has two feature film projects in development.

BEING DEAD is his screen adaptation of Jim Crace’s award-winning book of the same name. SHADOW CREEK is an original screenplay, about a man’s return to a remote island off the Carolina coast in 1948. More information on both projects can be found at www.VashonFilms.com.

Prior to filmmaking, John spent a number of years creating and producing public affairs radio programs featuring individuals from many echelons of American political and social cultures. He began his career in broadcasting as a producer and correspondent for an international news television program.
